Skin blemish removal using cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is the use of extreme cold to freeze and remove abnormal tissue. It uses a stream of compressed gas to freeze the lesion, causing it to die and fall off and is a non-invasive procedure. It is used to treat many skin conditions including verrucas, warts, age spots, skin tags, cherry angiomas, and seborrhoeic keratosis. Our friendly and efficient appointments can help to identify and treat many skin problems.
Treating many skin conditions
What can I expect?
The procedure is quick and painless, with most patients experiencing little to no discomfort. During the Cryopen procedure, the patient may feel a slight tingling or burning sensation, which is usually minimal. The procedure typically takes just a few minutes to complete, and no downtime is required afterwards. Patients can resume their normal activities immediately after the procedure.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of Cryopen treatments required will depend on the size and type of lesion being treated. It is highly effective and most patients see results after just one treatment, but larger or more stubborn lesions may require multiple treatments.
